WHO WE ARE
The Woolloomooloo Connection is made up of local Woolloomooloo individuals and organisations. It takes collective effort to influence change
so we want to say thank you to everyone person who makes up our collective.
How we got started
There is a strong ethos of collaboration in Woolloomooloo.
In 2020, HopeStreet sought to build on this by hosting Asset Based Community Development trainings which were open to Woolloomooloo residents and workers. You can see some of the activities we did and discussions we had here. These monthly community meetings are ongoing and new people are always welcome to get involved. One idea that was discussed during those meetings was creating a Woolloomooloo website – so that organisations could better let the community know what they were up to, and the community could stay informed. This website is a work-in progress and we welcome any feedback.
